Job Title:           English Teacher

Pay Rate:         £160 - £230 per day

Location:         Birmingham

Start Date:      ASAP

Type:                   Long Term – To end of academic year

Hours:                8.15 – 16.00

Smart Education are working with a Secondary School located in Birmingham LEA to the North East of the City. This school are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to join them for the remainder of the academic year for a long term supply role. The role will be to teach KS3 and KS4 pupils and will involve planning and prep.

This school are a mainstream academy at the heart of the local community, located in an area of disparate income and expectation the school offers a transformative experience for their pupils, and was graded as a ‘Good’ school in their most recent Ofsted. Job Requirements for this English Teacher role:

• Hold QTS
• Valid Child DBS (Or be willing to get one)
• Patience, empathy and a commitment to serving the pupils you support to the best of your ability
• Clear understanding and commitment to safeguarding
• Ability to offer differentiated teaching as required
• Strong communication and teamwork to work with the rest of the staff team.
